Pakistan Mosque Suicide Bombing Used Chemical Device

Filed under: Terrorism by Chad at 8:58 pm CDT

The Gulf Times reports a chemical device was used in a suicide bombing in a Pakistani mosque this past Friday. This is the same suicide bombing which Pakistani authorities have said there is an Al Qaida link.

The chemical used in the blast was similar to that used in the Marriot Hotel explosion on October 28 last year, the sources said.

Army experts and a joint investigation team had collected some samples of blood clots and skin pieces from the scene of the attack.

But since they were unable to trace any bomb particle from the site, the experts concluded that a chemical device had been used, the sources said.

Truly alarming, though hardly anything new. A chemical bomb is much more sophisticated and harder to detect than the majority of bombs that tear through Iraq everytime Abu Musab al-Zarqawi feels an itch to kill innocent Muslims. Hopefully this is not a precurser of what is to happen in Iraq, but with the group being linked to Al Qaida, it very well may be.

These terrorist are idiots. Why the heck are they bombing a mosque for? No matter what their reason is, they will go to hell for it. No, question about it. I wonder if they are muslims at all? No, real muslims would dare to bomb their fellow muslims and add to that a mosque, GOD house!
