The Islamofascists think they can bully the nation who dropped two nukes on a once hostile Empire of Japan or the nation who helped to stop Hitler from his diabolic plans at a master race and total rule over Europe. As a natin, we get sleepy and clumsy or even wayward at times, but the prevaling American mindset of freedom and liberty will always outlast, outfight, outstruggle and outwit terror and oppression. Just like Jim Jones and his deadly <em>kool-aid</em>, David Koresh and his <em>doomsday prophecies</em>, al-Qaeda, Hamas and the rest of radical Islamic extremists will meet a similar fate: they, like dynamite, will burn out with a violent sizzle. The end result of their sordid missions, their evil goals, their horrific disregard of humanity will be millions of liberated, freedom-loving Muslims shaking their heads both in pity and thanksgiving. Silence is looked upon as agreement. Muslims can not be silent and remain unaffected. There is an old saying in the west: "If you sleep with dogs you will catch their fleas." This is a simple matter. I agree completely with John in that remaining silent is not the way for Muslims to combat this. On the bright side, there seem to be more Muslim groups protesting against terrorism than before.
