This time we’re not talking about Lodi, but rather a case that has received very little coverage due to the nature of the initial arrest. Two men were arrested while trying to commit an armed robbery and were found to have radical Islamic propoganda in their posession. The more authorities dug into the backgrounds of these two individuals, the more they were believed to be some sort of local extremists.
Needless to say that when you deal with a case such as this, people will cry foul quickly. After all, there are many people who refuse to believe there are people within the United States following the jihadi ideology and planning attacks. Those people that doubted the investigation though can now stop doubting as authorities have learned they were plotting an attack on September 11, 2005.
Two men recently arrested on suspicion of committing armed robberies in Torrance and Fullerton were Muslim converts who are now suspected of planning a variety of jihad-inspired terror attacks around Los Angeles, including one scheduled for September 11, 2005, KFI NEWS has learned.
Gregory Vernon Patterson, 21, and Levar Haney Washington, 25, planned to shoot up a military recruiting station in Santa Monica and at least one other civilian target, a high-ranking federal law enforcement source confirmed recently.
“The intent was to kill everyone at the target, including civilians,†the source said.
Well isn’t that special. Was this yet another terror cell in California or were these two men just complete whack-jobs aligned with the jihadis? Furthermore, is there a connection to anyone else? I have a hard time believing two men can just acquire propoganda and then plan to attack innocent civilians within their own country.

Update:
A third arrest has been made in this case; this time a Pakistani national planning to attack the “Israeli Consulate, California National Guard facilities and other targets.” The arrests of the above two men led authorities to this man and they were able to directly link proposed targets to the Pakistani national.
