Middle Eastern Bloggers: Support Denmark

Filed under: Terrorism by Chad at 1:56 pm UTC

Gateway Pundit reports Middle Eastern bloggers respond in support of Denmark to the Danish cartoon row. From Freedom for Egyptians:

If Denmark resigned to the war launched by Muslim Arabs to receive apology from the government of Denmark, I am sorry to say that Denmark will simply be saying we do not believe in what we stand for. Denmark will be sending the message that we apply freedom of expression but we do not really believe in it.

Denmark will be sending the message around the world that Arab citizens who are ruled by the one party, president for life regimes are imposing their lack of freedom on the free world, hence the prevailance of the culture of oppression, tyranny and ideologies of hatred

If Denmark wants to apologize, then Denmark must the set its conditions. Muslim Governments and peoples must apologize for every innocent person that got beheaded while the name of Prophet Muhamed was uttered or hung at the back of the slaughter houses scenes. Muslims must apologize that Prophet’s Muhamed’s name was used in the name of beheading innocent people. Muslims must apologize for sucide bombers who blow themselves in children buses, worshipping places and metro stations while saying in the name of God, no prophet but Muhamed. They must apologize that the name of Prophet Muhamed is used in such criminal terrorist acts. These are not damn cartoons this is a horror terrorist reality.

Gateway Pundit has many, many more reactions from Middle Eastern bloggers and they all say support Denmark.

Actually, i don’t believe that any muslim should apologize for the “misuse” of his prophet’s name in a criminal act. And i don’t remember that any of the arab governments supported any of these acts, or agreed with it. As for the bombers the poster is talking about, let me ask him a question; What would you do, if you woke up in the morning to find me sitting on your sofa, and refusing to leave your house, and actually claiming it to be my house ?? and moreover, my stay in your house is internationally supported. I think you will go through every available mean from negotiation, up to BOMBING. Please notice that i didn’t mention anything about harrasing your wife or asking you to leave your home, just the plain assumption that i’m only sitting on your sofa.
Now, if you need muslim’s to apologize for such acts, then i suggest you go back to the next day after any of the events you mentioned and read the apology in any newspaper, because there was ALWAYS one.

Freedom of expression does not give me the right to insult you now in this message, because it is MY PERSONAL OPINION.

Also, giving examples of how other people are wrong DOES NOT MAKE YOU “RIGHT”.

“Freedom of expression does not give me the right to insult you now in this message, because it is MY PERSONAL OPINION.”

Actually, it does and it is your personal opinion that freedom of speech and expression allows you to have.

You’re more than welcome to leave your couch comment with the blog who wrote the blocked material, Freedom for Egyptians. Considering I live in Texas, you wouldn’t be breathing too long if you came into my house uninvited so I assume that question wasn’t directed to me.

I think these people are acting out in a way that only confirms the worlds opinion of the societies within the middle east. They are an uneducated, barbaric society who never caught up with the rest of the world as it evolved into the modern day society. Denmark has no need to apologize for its freedom of expression to the muslims around the world. I do not believe they owe them anything. PERIOD. I do not dislike Muslims, but the mentality of American Muslims versus Middle Eastern Muslims is like night and day. As far as the “What would you do, if you woke up in the morning to find me sitting on your sofa, and refusing to leave your house, and actually claiming it to be my house ?? and moreover, my stay in your house is internationally supported” comment, well no one would be in your house if you werent commiting acts of violence, terror and using the Quran out of context now would they?

“well no one would be in your house if you werent commiting acts of violence, terror “.
well if you go back and review the history of Palestinians BEFORE jews were sent to palestine, you wouldn’t find any acts of violence or terrorism (as you guys like to describe it), so there was no excuse for taking there lands by force IN THE FISRT PLACE.Period. Now, don’t complain about them bombing the israeli forces there, because it is their right to do that, and yes they have all the right to do it, and it is not an act of terrorism, in fact it is more a self defense than anything else.

“They are an uneducated, barbaric society who never caught up with the rest of the world “.
As for the guy, commenting on the educational standards of the middle easterns, i’d like to point out the fact that middle eastern Muslims have achieved very high educational standards both inside and outside of their home countries (not all of them of course, but the majority are). I’ll talk about myself as a mere example, i’m a medical doctor, i have >10 yrs experience, and moreover i’m a Microsoft certified Database administrator and system engineer with more than 15 yrs of computer experience (if u go bak 15 yrs, even the western knowledge of computers was scarse, and there was no home PCs back then).

“Actually, it does and it is your personal opinion that freedom of speech and expression allows you to have”
Now, for the right of expression; as i do understand it and appreciate it, i still insist that this right was not given to anyone to insult others, if u have an opinion, go on and express it, in a CIVILIZED way that reflects the HUGE EDUCATIONAL effort put into you, and without hurting the feelings of others (just to make a joke) !!

“You wouldn’t be breathing too long”, yea, i agree. That’s why israeli forces are not breathing for long too, and that’s why i don’t consider it as an act of terrorism either.
