Captain Jack Sparrow a Zionist?

Filed under: Iran Watch by Chad at 3:40 pm CDT

The folks at MEMRI have already brought us the words of an Iranian professor proclaim the cartoon ‘Tom and Jerry’ was Zionist, Jewish propoganda designed to make mice look good.  The rationale is that Jews in Germany were called mice.  I have no clue if that’s factual or not, nor franky do I care.  The mere mention of this conspiracy theory though shone a spotlight upon what an Iranian intellectual on state-sponsored television believes, and it’s doesn’t say too highly upon what it takes to get a doctorate in Iran.

Now we’re told on Iranian television that all of Disney is evil, therefore ‘Pirates of the Carribean’ must be too.

“In any event, Zionism is not restricted to the capitalistic weapons companies, such as Lockheed and the banks that support it. Cinema is considered another, subtle, weapon in the hands of those who support this corrupt ideology. In Hollywood, Disney is the manufacturer of this weapon, and Pirates of the Caribbean is its newest ammunition.

Who watches these shows in Iran, seriously?

Digg It!

    JEWS ARE PROTECTED IN IRAN

    The Traditional Jewish Approach
    Welcome! President Ahmadinejad

    The Traditional Jewish Approach
    September 20, 2006

Neturei Karta International, a world wide organization of Orthodox Jews opposed to Zionism has officially extended her hand, together with many believing Jews, to the Iranian President Ahmadinejad, upon his historic visit to the United States. The respectful display of friendship brings peace, harmony, respect and trust. It is the sincere hope of Torah true Jews, with the help of the Almighty, that this expression of peace will counter the provocations of the Zionist organizations. The motes operandi of Zionism and its organizations, is the cause of animosity and mistrust, which can only bring catastrophic results, endangering Jews and non-Jews alike, in Palestine, the U.S.A. and around the world.

Despite media and Zionist hysteria to the contrary, the Iranian President has always been a dear friend of the Jewish people and has profound respect for the Jewish religion.

Unfortunately, many people have been led to believe that a rejection of Zionism equals a dislike of Judaism and Jews. Nothing could be further from the truth. Zionism denies many basic beliefs of the Jewish faith and has endangered Jews with its aggressions towards Palestinians and others. By proclaiming that Judaism and Zionism have nothing in common, the Iranian President has actually helped lessen anti-Jewish sentiments throughout the Islamic world. This is in keeping with his policy towards the Jews of Iran who have enjoyed his respect and protection as well as that of the Iranian people in general over the years. This is an undeniable fact and one that our group’s Rabbinic leaders have repeatedly witnessed on their many trips to Iran.

The President’s desire to see Palestine returned to the Palestinian people is far from being a call to harm Jews and is actually the real Torah based formula for peace in the Middle East. Surely, the Zionist solution of endless war has failed miserably. Isn’t it time we began to give serious consideration to the reasoned words of the President? His view is not only logically compelling, but it also coincides with the universal view of Torah teachers of the previous generation, namely, that the state of “Israel” violates our faith and is a recipe for disaster for all concerned.

Anti-Zionist, Orthodox Jews, will be staging a counter protest outside the United Nations, in order to refute the cruel lies being offered in place of facts, by some misguided organizations, in the Jewish community. Likewise, it will help to reaffirm the respect of the Jewish people for President Ahmadinejad and the mutual good feelings which they share.

The Torah abiding Jewish people sincerely hope, that this and similar actions will bring world peace – from the U.S.A. to Palestine and from New York to Tehran. Amen.

In the 1930’s german propaganda film “Der Ewige Jude” (the eternal jew), jews were compared to rats, both in respects to “their prolific breeding” and “their role as a pest in society”.

    Nice! :(

Thanks, Adam. “Their prolific breeding?” I didn’t realize Jews were like Catholics or Mormons in that regard. Heh.

I saw one of those nut-jobs from NKI on with Neil Cavuto one day, and asked a blogger in Jerusalem about them. They are a fringe group, not unlike Code Pinko in the U.S., and only a supporter of Israel forfeiting their own land would dig up such an unimportant and useless copy/paste job.
The above poster has stated before he thought Israel should be moved to the central California area. I say Israel shall always be where it is, and further, I think the Arabs occupying Jewish land should be expelled, unless they wish to apply for Israeli citizenship.
As for Ahmadamdingdong and the Mad Mullahs:

A recent poll conducted by pro-Democracy students in Iran shows that the current President of Iran enjoys the support of about twenty percent of the Iranian populace, likewise over eighty percent of the Iranian student body supports a secular democratic government.

Still, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has disowned the Iranian people’s call for modernization, choosing instead to pursue a policy of irrational fundamentalism that will trigger repercussions around the world. Ahmadinejad is the head of a fascist anti-Semitic campaign, denying the reality of the Holocaust and demanding the transfer of Israel to Europe. As the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center points out, Ahmadinejad’s statements “reveal him as a fanatic ideologue who despite criticism at home and abroad, clearly prefers revolutionary Islamic considerations, as defined by Khomeini, to pragmatic national ones”. Some critics believe that the harsh words of the Iranian leader are too emotional to be taken seriously, however, if the majority adopts this approach, it may be too late to suppress the wave of violence. If the possible violence materializes, it will be felt by the world at large and most importantly by the Persians themselves. After all, the fundamentalist ideology of the current regime sharply contrasts with the views of young Iranians that desire for a modernized and prosperous state that enjoys friendly relations with the world, without suffering the backlash from economic sanctions. Ahmadinejad’s policies will also exacerbate an already explosive relationship between the East and the West, perpetuating the dictatorship strategically in a vital region.

    Zeich Heil Ahmadinejad

A few more things about the NKI, that Alan referenced in his copy/paste. According to my friend in Jerusalem, he had this to say about them:

They are a fringe group of a few hundred people who stand out because they are dressed differently from everyone else at the radical Islamic rallies. They represent no one but themselves, follow no Rabbis and do not represent “Torah Judaism” in any way, shape or form.
