‘Englandinistan’ and ‘Genocide Day’

Filed under: Dhimmitude, Islamism by Chad at 5:38 am CST

Two disturbing reports from England that highlight the nation’s problem with Islamism came out over the weekend.  The first is reported by the Daily Mail.

In stark contrast with their parents, growing numbers sympathise with extreme teachings of Islam, with almost four in ten wanting to live under Sharia law in Britain.

The study identifies significant support for wearing the veil in public, Islamic schools and even punishment by death for Muslims who convert to another religion.

Most alarmingly, 13 per cent of young Muslims said they “admired” organisations such as Al Qaeda which are prepared to “fight the West”.

The poll found there was a considerable difference in attitudes between respondents in the 16-24 year-old age group and the over-55 age group.   Of the young generation, 74 percent wanted Muslim women to wear a veil, 37 percent of respondents wanted to send their children (most likely prospective) to state Islamic schools and 36 percent of respondents sought the death penalty if a Muslim converts to another religion.  Of the older generation, 28 percent of respondents wanted Muslim women to wear a veil, 19 percent wanted to send their children to state Islamic schools and 19 percent of respondents thought conversion away from Islam should be punished by death.

As The Mirror notes, most respondents within the age group of 16-24 are British born, so where did they get their radical views from?  The poll does not insinuate the younger generation was radicalized by those over 55, unless the minority from the older generation holds more sway with the younger generation than the majority, a fair assumption to make.

Eighty-four percent of respondents thought Muslims are treated fairly in England, with 28 percent believing England’s efforts to appease a Muslim populace were “over the top.”

One example of England going “over the top” to appease the Muslim populace is the cancelation of Holocaust Day in Bolton.  Under pressure from the Muslim Council of Britain, the Bolton Council decided to change the name of Holocaust Day to ‘Genocide Day’ which is also set to mark “the ongoing genocide and human rights abuses of Palestinians” by Israelis.

For a moment, let us assume Jimmy ‘The Dhimmi’ Carter and those who argue there is genocide going on in the Palestinian Territories are correct, not by the fighting between Hamas and Fatah that has resulted in 60 deaths including children since December but rather by Israel who has killed three Palestinians of unknown origin (were they Hamas?) in that same time period.  Approximately six million Jews, gypsies and political prisoners were executed during the Holocaust.  A liberal estimate of 20 Palestinians, including known terrorists, killed by Hamas per month since Israel was founded numbers just over 10,000 people.

Are we somehow comparing 10,000 to six million, deciding to skip over the fact the Nazi Regime didn’t just murder Jews?  And besides, when the UN cannot recognize actual genocide by Islamists in Iraq and Sudan, why would the UN recognize a far, far, far lower figure that includes the killing of terrorists as genocide?  The Bolton Council should be ashamed.

Digg It!

Those statistics are just plain scary. The United States needs to be aware of the situation over there. We sure don’t want to follow suit here.
