The ‘New’ Child Martyr

According to the MEMRI blog, a Hamas affiliated forum has published the picture seen at right of a little girl in combat fatigues. The forum posters boast this little girl is a “new child martyr who will soon shake Israel [to the core].”

But the depths of depravity hardly stop there. The forum posters contend this girl is part of a new breed of Palestinian children who are raised to fight Israel. Naturally, this doesn’t actually shock me any.

This new generation “is part of the Muslim generation which will go down in history [as a generation]… that refused to [accept] humiliation and defeat.”

Yep, Hamas wants peace. Well, the party might, but their followers only want to send their children to murder and maim. And besides, isn’t telling a child they have nothing to live for but death enough “humiliation and defeat?”

To think, when I saw my little niece last Friday I gave her a hug instead of sizing her up for a suicide bomb belt. Priorities, I know.

Poor little girl. Deprived of a normal childhood, deprived of normal loving parents and extended family, brainwashed, and possibly deprived of her very life. It takes a special kind of evil to destroy your own children this way. I hope the adults who did this to this child rot in a very hot Hell for eternity. But that’s just me.

I assume you are talking about the Hamas suicide bomber to be and not my niece, right? Because I’ll have you know, while my niece is feisty, she lives a full if priviledged life.
