Confusion on Capitol Hill

Filed under: Uncategorized by Chad at 5:20 pm CST

Covering the first day of the debate over the House bill to diplomatically slap President Bush on his plan to try to secure Baghdad and win the war in Iraq, ‘Confusion on Capitol Hill’ explores the two sides who are presenting two entirely different sets of arguments.

On one side, Democrats are focusing like a laser beam (thanks Michael Medved) on Iraq and not looking at the larger picture. Republicans, on the other hand, are framing Iraq into the larger GWOT. Naturally, you all know where I fall in terms of that argument.

I used footage from terrorist attacks, photos from attacks, video from Ayman al-Zawahiri, several different articles and video from some of the speeches to illustrate just how odd the debate is. ‘Confusion on Capitol Hill’ runs just under 16 minutes.
